The Timemore V-60 with a new feature that allows different pouring speeds \u2013 it ensures that your pour-overs won’t be over-extracted.<\/p>\n
It is designed with a concave principle; the lower area of the V60, instead of slowing down, the brewing actually increases, making the water flow smoother and the extraction more uniform.<\/p>\n
There are 3 levels in the design:<\/p>\n
1 \u2013 Sealed Level \u2013 the filter paper is fully attached to the smooth upper part of the V-60 so that water cannot pass through. 2 \u2013 Brewing Level \u2013 where the brewing action should take place. 3 \u2013 Powder Level \u2013 the ground coffee will fill the bottom area, which is less ribbed and more fluted to encourage water flow and thus reduce the chance of over-extraction.<\/p>\n
