Description
Marysabel Caballero and her husband Moises Herrera are among the most renowned coffee producers in Honduras. Their family has been cultivating coffee in the Marcala region for over three generations, with nearly 200 hectares of land divided into 17 individual farms.
This specific Catuai lot was processed naturally and sun-dried, enhancing its fruity, dense, and sweet characteristics. The result is an espresso with concentrated notes of dried berries, dark chocolate, and a winey finish that highlights their expertise in post-harvest techniques.
We selected this coffee as part of our long-term collaboration with the Caballero family. “Bomba de fruta” captures the explosive fruit profile that natural Honduran coffees can achieve, with precision farming, environmental awareness, and a constant drive for cup quality.
