Journey to the heart of Ethiopian coffee heritage with our Chelbesa capsules, sourced from the lush highlands of the Gedeo region at 2100 meters above sea level. Each capsule embodies the rich, red clay soil of Bildimoo — a foundation that gives rise to an extraordinary coffee with notes of lychee, cinnamon, pineapple, and a zing of ginger. Managed by the dedicated Girum Assefa, the Chelbesa washing station brings together the harvests of around 615 local farmers, ensuring cherries travel no more than 40 minutes to preserve their optimal sweetness. Our coffee, naturally processed and comprising the treasured Wolisho and Kurume varieties, is an ode to the meticulous wait of the farmers for perfectly ripened cherries, revealing a profile of pronounced floral and citrus notes, a luxurious cocoa finish, and the nuanced sophistication of black tea and caramel.
