Description
The Beneficio San Gabriel was established in 2014 by the Trejos and Di Tolla families in Mercedes Sur, Turrubares. Named after their first son, Gabriel, the farm grows high-quality coffee at 1300–1600 masl. The SL28 variety is rare in Costa Rica and benefits greatly from the Pacific breeze and the cool microclimate.
This washed process coffee reveals a clean and elegant cup. Notes of chamomile, apricot, and honey stand out, supported by a bright acidity and smooth texture.
We selected this lot for its unique origin and rare variety. It showcases the SL28 in a refined, expressive manner with excellent clarity and balance.
