Description
In 2015, Alexandros Foukis spent fifteen days at Gesha Village, living alongside the farmers and discovering the land where the legendary Gesha variety was born. Among the villages of Gaylee, Dimma, and Oma, he experienced the deep respect that connects people, nature, and coffee. That journey became a lasting inspiration — a reminder that beauty in coffee begins at origin, shaped by those who nurture it. The Gaylee lot grows at 1,930–2,050 masl, where cool mountain air and rich volcanic soils shape its profile. The washed process includes a 48-hour fermentation and slow drying on raised beds for about 18 days. The result is a coffee of remarkable clarity and floral depth — jasmine, citrus, and white tea in perfect harmony. We at Handpickers selected this coffee as a tribute to authenticity and elegance. It carries the emotion of discovery — the same feeling Alexandros experienced when he first stood in the Gesha Village hills, realizing that true excellence begins with respect.
