Pink Bourbon Washed – Café Granja La Esperanza
In the Valle del Cauca region of Colombia, the Potosí farm in Caicedonia produces the exceptional Pink Bourbon Washed coffee. Grown at an altitude of 1502-1835 meters above sea level, this coffee undergoes a careful processing process. The cherries are first fermented for 20 hours in open tanks, followed by 72 hours of anaerobic fermentation in barrels. This double fermentation process enhances the complexity and depth of coffee flavor. After fermentation, the coffee is dried in a mechanical dryer at 37°C and then stored at 18°C to 19°C to maintain its quality.
The result is a coffee with a rich profile, with aromas of caramel, spices and flowers. The taste offers notes of roasted almonds, panela, floral notes and grapefruit, complemented by white chocolate and a subtle cinnamon aftertaste. With a clean finish and silky body, this coffee is a true representation of the dedication and experience at Café Granja La Esperanza.
