Description
Naginzole #2 comes from the high-altitude region of Bulambuli in Eastern Uganda, cultivated by smallholder farmers with plots smaller than 1 hectare. SL14 and SL28 varieties thrive in this Kenyan-like microclimate, where cool temperatures promote slow cherry maturation and complex flavour development.
This coffee is anaerobically naturally processed at the Ibero washing station, built in 2022. Cherries are strictly selected and dried gradually on raised beds under careful supervision. This processing method enhances the coffee’s density and aromatic intensity, resulting in a cup that is sweet, vibrant, and fruit-driven.
We selected this coffee because it represents the bold new direction of Ugandan specialty coffee. Expect sweet purple grape and dark berries, floral freshness, and a layered cup that’s both modern and expressive — a perfect filter coffee for those who appreciate nuance and clean structure.
