The X–Mas Espresso Blend was created from our desire to craft a coffee wrapped in Christmas magic. We selected three outstanding coffees — the fruit-driven Naginzole from Uganda, the elegant Ayele Begshaw from Ethiopia, and the chocolate-rich Frinisa Manis from Indonesia — to build an espresso that is juicy, sweet, and intensely aromatic.
Processing and its impact in the cup
This blend brings together natural and semi-washed processes, delivering deep fruit expression with balanced chocolate structure. Uganda contributes funk and ripe fruit, Ethiopia adds florals and clarity, while Indonesia enriches the blend with body, spice, and velvety sweetness.
Why we selected it as Handpickers
We wanted a holiday coffee that transmits emotion — a blend that feels like a winter dessert: mature cherries, black currant, chocolate, and festive vibrancy. X–Mas Blend is our “seasonal signature,” an espresso that proves how magic happens when exceptional raw coffee meets passion and precise roasting.
Espresso Recipe:
19 g → 26–29 sec → 93°C → 60 ml
This recipe highlights the blend’s sweet cherry depth, vibrant black-currant brightness, and smooth chocolate finish.
