This is an ideal brewing method, ideal for having it with you everywhere – although you should keep in mind that it is best to brew individual cups at a time. The method uses a fine paper filter and pressure to pass water through the coffee. For those looking for something that has the same intensity as espresso, the result is ideal!

STEP 1

Rinse the paper filter. This will ensure that there is no paper flavour in the preparation and will also heat the pan.

STEP 2

Insert the filter into the filter lid and attach it to the brewing chamber. Place on a mug.

STEP 3

Weigh the coffee. Adjust your grinder to grind the coffee to a medium cut.

STEP 4

Use the funnel to put the coffee in the brewing chamber. The funnel helps prevent coffee from spilling or sticking to the inside walls of the Aeropress.

STEP 5

Start the timer and pour 35 grams of water into the Aeropress. Stir immediately with the stirrer to make sure the water is saturated.

STEP 6

After about a minute, add 215 grams of water for a total of 250 grams. Immediately stir back and forth for 10 seconds just vigorously enough to not overflow the brew chamber.

STEP 7

Insert the plunger into the cooking chamber approximately ⅛ ”–¼” deep. This is done only so that the drink does not drip from the filter lid.

STEP 8

Let the coffee boil for another 2-4 minutes. A shorter preparation time will have a slimmer body and a more aromatic result, while the longer production time gives us a fuller body and a balanced result!

STEP 9

Slowly and slowly, push the plunger down until it is completely pressed against the coffee grounds. This should take at least 30 seconds. If you can see the brewed coffee coming out of the sides of the filter lid, it means that you are pressing hard.
